Members of Save Kwara Group (SKG), has congratulated the newly appointed Acting Inspector General Police, Adamu Mohammed Abubakar over the ascendance of the top of his career, with a call to, as a mater of urgency, strengthen the security architecture of kwara state to ensure the immediate return of peace to the hitherto state of harmony.

The group also called on critical political stakeholders in kwara and the electorate to support and vote for all candidates of All Progressives Congress (APC), in the forthcoming general elections in the state.

The Convener of the group, Engineer Benjamin Dairo Oyinloye made the call on Wednesday during a press conference held at the group’s secretariat, Irewolede area of Ilorin, the kwara state capital.
“We congratulate the newly appointed Acting Inspector General of Police, Adamu Mohammad Abubakar to speed up strategies and plans that will protect the ordinary civil populace of kwara state from the hands of political thugs ” Oyinloye said.

He called on kwarans to be very careful in selecting who will represent them in various political offices for the next four years in the forthcoming general elections saying “the 2019 elections is the rallying point of kwara’s congregational prayers of many years, for political liberation.

” We urge every aggrieved aspirant in APC to come clean and support this epochal reaching call from kwarans for our political liberty from the hand of the champion of political impunity” Oyinloye added.

He said SKG is a coalition of kwara’s democratic advocators response to the termination of illegitimate mini powers that have strangulated the essential will and prayers of kwarans for more than 40 years counting.

He recalled that the SKG’s journey for political freedom in kwara started on first of August, 2018 when the group mobilised 300,000 kwarans for the 3 kilometers, 3 hours, 3 minutes, 3 seconds march on the streets of Ilorin, the kwara state capital.

Also speaking, the chairman of SKG, Alhaji Muhammed Niyi Abioye, said the ultimate aim of forming SKG was to record a political and economic liberation in kwara state.
