The National Chairman of the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN), Alhaji Ganiyu Galadima has called on Nigerians to keep their hope alive despite challenges facing the nation.

In a statement made available in Ilorin, the Kwara state capital, to mark this year’s Christmas celebration, Galadima described Jesus Christ as an embodiment of love, selflessness, justice and peace.

He advised Christians to exhibit the spirit of peace, love and forgiveness, all through the Christmas celebration and beyond.

Galadima, who is also the running mate of the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria’s (ACPN), presidential candidate, Doctor Oby Ezekwesili, noted that these critical values demonstrated by Jesus Christ throughout his sojourn on earth should be emulated by all and sundry in order to have a peaceful and prosperous nation.

He implored Nigerians, particularly Christians, to spread love and affection to their neighbours and remember the underprivileged as they celebrate Christmas.

The National chairman also used the medium to call on Christian faithful to use the period of this yuletide season to intensify prayers for the peace and security of the nation.
End.
