Jimi Agbaje
Jimi Agbaje has emerged as the governorship candidate of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos state.
Agbaje defeated his only opponent, Deji Doherty in a keenly contested election. Agbaje polled 1,100 votes while his opponent Doherty had 742 votes.
The primary election which lasted for two days was mornitored by a panel under the chairmanship of Victor Kassim Oyofo.
About 3, 000 accredited delegates from the twenty local government areas of the state voted in the election.
