The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship primary in Kwara state that held Sunday in Ilorin has been disrupted.
The gubernatorial primary which started on a good note at the Banquet Hall, opposite Government house, Ilorin after the earlier peaceful accreditation at Kwara Hotel, was put to an abrupt end following a violence that ensued among the delegates.
The crisis began when the name of a particular gubernatorial aspirant was allegedly marked on all balot papers, a scenarion that triggared the anger of other delegates during the voting process.
