Read what Youth Group told one Kwara Commissioner

A non-political group, Youth Emancipation Movement has called on the Kwara State Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Hajia Bilikis Oniyangi to join race for the seat of Ilorin East & South Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives.

 

The group made the call in a statement signed by its Chairman
Mallam Hussein Baba from Oke-Ogun ward in Ilorin South LG.

 

The statement noted that it was very imperative for Hajia Oniyangi to join the race because she has all it takes to deliver in line with the people’s mandate.

 

The statement added that the antecedent of Hajia Oniyangi in administration and governance portrays her to be the best candidate for the seat.

 

It particularly noted with delight that the commissioner’s invaluable contributions to the welfare of her people even before her recent appointment were enormous and profound.

 

“It shows that if she has better opportunity to represent her people at the House of Representatives, she would serve them better because that is what she knows how to do best”.

 

According to the statement “this statement is issued on behalf of members of this group which cut across all the 16 local governments in the state. We are not political group but a concern forum with focus on the welfare of our people.

 

“We have been monitoring the antecedent of Hajia Bilikis Oniyangi and it shows from all indications that she will represent her people well at the House of Representatives if given the opportunity.

 

“The records have shown that her major concern is passion for the welfare of her people. People of Ilorin South LG are feeling her impact in the areas of health care delivery, water provision, youth and women empowerment among others.

 

“So, we want her to join the race for the House of Representatives seat so that she can bring more dividends of democracy to the door steps of her people”.
