An aspirant vying for Ilorin East/South Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Comrade Tajudeen Abdulraheem Olesin has declared that he is vying for the House of Representatives seat not because of selfish interest but common interest.

Olesin said his decision to go to National Assembly is premised on the need to add values to the lives of the less-privileged especially the youth, women and the aged.

Olesin made this known in Ilorin during the get-together to commemorate the just concluded Eid-el-Adha celebration which he organised for Ibagun Youths in Ibagun Ward of Ilorin East Local Government Area of the state.

He explained that his involvement in the grassroot has afforded him the ample opportunity to identify where the shoe pitches his people.

He added that passion for the well-being of the less-privileged spurred him to join the race in order to add meaning to the lives of people through good quality representation at the federal level.

He used the occasion to mention some of his notable contributions to the development of his community, especially in the areas of education, power supply, empowerment for transporters, assisting the less-privileged among others.

The aspirant solicited for the support of the youth, assuring that he would operate government of inclusiveness and an open door policy.

Selected personalities who spoke at the event, called on youth to be focused and support the aspiration of their class by avoiding mortgaging their future.

They described Comrade Olesin as a true philanthropist who would not disappoint the youth if given the chance.
