FOMWAN holds 11th annual Youth Camp in Kwara

The Federation of Muslims Women’s Association in Nigeria (FOMWAN) Ifelodun Local Government Chapter, will on Tuesday 24th of December 2019, commence it’s 11th Annual Youth Camp programmes scheduled to hold at Babanla Central Mosque
in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara state.

The youth camp, which is tagged “Babanla 2019” will take place between Tuesday 24th and Saturday 28th of December, 2019.

According to a statement signed by the FOMWAN, the theme for this year’s editon of the youth camp is “Moral Decadence in the Society: Causes, Effects and Solutions” to be delivered by Dr (Mrs) Mulikat Mustapha of Department of Counsellor Education, Faculty of Education, University of Ilorin, Ilorin.

Other guest speakers that will speak on various sub-themes include Dr Tawakaltu Labaeka of Sobi Specialist Hospital, Ilorin who will speak on” Drug Abuse, Misuse, and Addiction”; Mallam Ibrahim Muh’d Orilowo of Shariah Court of Appeals, Ilorin will speak on Cultism; Hajia Hamdalat Abdulfatai will deliver lecture on Examination Malpractice; while Hajia Saladeen will speak on Negative Effect of Social Media.

The Royal Fathers of the Day are HRH Oba Aliu Alabi Yusuf, Arojojoye of Babanla; HRH Oba Babatunde Abdulraheem, Oba of Owode Ofaro; HRH Oba Abdulraheem Ifabiyi, Oba of Owa Onire; HRH Abdulkareem A. Adebola, Oba of Oke-Oyan; HRH Oba Abdulkadir A. Dada, Oba of Oreke; and HRH Oba Muritala Zubair Atobiloye, Oba of Ikosin.

The Chairman of the occasion is the former Chairman, Kwara state Civil Service Commission, Alhaji Saliman Adelodun Ibrahim while Olori Adijat Yusuf and Olori Aminat Yusuf are going to be chairpersons on the occasion.

The Guests of Honour are Mallam Kamaldeen Abdulsalam, Alhaji Yunus Eriokan, Alhaji Gombe Saliman Ismail, and Alhaji Abdullahi Alfa Muritador.
