Live and Let’s Live Nigeria Project: We Will Use Education and Culture to Achieve Peace and Unity in Nigeria

Taking the bull by the horns, the Nigerian youths under the auspices of Cultural Innovation Precision (CIP) is set to use innovation, education and culture as an emissary of hope to stem the tide of unwanted killings, needless agitations and avoidable crises to achieve peace and unity in Nigeria.
This is coming in a grand style and well-thought-out programme, carefully designed and titled “Live and Let’s Live Nigeria”,  the Project will be adopting all possible mechanisms that will appeal to the conscience and consciousness of Nigerian youth, speaking the language they all understand to bring about peaceful co-existence that will accelerate the nation’s socio-economic growth and development.
This is contained in a press statement signed by the Media Consultant to the Project, Malam Abdul Rahman Aliagan and made available to Journalists.
According to the statement, the Convener of the Project, Mr Samuel Thomas Ukpong said, “Live And Let’s Live Nigeria” is a social awareness and mobilization campaign that has the prevailing challenges as it’s direct focus, as it seeks for a possible peaceful resolution to resolve the menace of the ruthless killing of innocent Nigerians who were on mission to achieve destiny by contributing their quota to the economic advancement of our dear country.”
Mr Ukpong affirms that peace is not the absence of justice, rather it is the application of justice to guarantee peaceful coexistence of Nigerians irrespective of tribe, religion or creed.
“We seek to proactively partner with relevant authorities to help restore sanity in this country.”  He also added that “ The right to life is the moral principle based on the belief that a human being has the right to live and, particular, should not be killed by another human being. He further stated that the concept of Right to life arises from the debates on the issue of capital punishment, war, abortion and public health.
Mr Ukpong lamented against the Boko Haram bombing and killings in the Northeast, agitation for resource control in the south-south, cession agitation in the southeast and the more devastating herdsmen killing in almost every part of the country.
He pointed out that Nigerian youths are the available tools used in perpetrating all sort of social vices and that is why his led Project Team, Live and Let’s Live Nigeria is innovational, educative, cultural and youth-focused.
According to the statement, Mr Ukpong said: “Our society cannot afford to fold its hands in the face of incessant bombing and destruction of lives and properties by insurgents; killing by the Fulani Herdsmen under the disguise of grazing bill; bombing of oil pipeline installations by the militants, the agitation by the BIAFRA to cede Nigeria; the communal clashes between OPC and Fulani herdsmen in the west has recorded several killings that had claimed so many innocent lives. Ukpong maintained that through this platform, a concrete effort would be engaged as it concerns the right of other human beings.
“Live and Let’s Live Nigeria Project will partner with relevant government agencies, corporate organisations as well as notable individual who are desirous of peace and tranquillity in Nigeria both local and international to champion the course of having a safe and free society, where Nigerians can live and work in any part of the country without fear or molestation from any quarter.
Earlier, in a chat with some selected Journalists in Abuja, Mr Ukpong spoke on the aims and objectives of the Project,he said, “Nigeria as the most populous black nations on earth with over 190 million people should take advantage of her numerical strength to boost her economy and service her social life that guarantees total wellbeing of her citizens.
 
“No meaningful development can take place in the absence of peace, saying that it is obvious that youths are the tools to prosecute all these atrocities, he said engaging youths meaningfully and purposefully will go a long way in achieving the needed socioeconomic growth and development in Nigeria.
The Project is primarily to support government efforts in ensuring sustainable peace through innovation, education and culture by promoting Nigeria’s indigenous crafts and artifacts to attract more exports, to promote Nigeria’s tourist sites and locations through the production of our commercial ready documentaries as well as provide a social service platform where Nigerians from all walks-of-life can access.
According to him, the Project seeks to organize rallies, workshops, drama, song, concerts, symposia, training and social awareness programs to sensitize the public of the need to shun violence and embrace peace.
On the scope of the Project, the Convener said, it seeks to cover the entire federation by having a regional offices cutting across the six geopolitical zones to provide effective grassroots reach.
While encouraging investor to key into the Project, Ukpong added that, “the market dynamism of the project cannot be over-emphasized as investors and partners stand the chance of recouping their investment in a project of sort as a result of the market segmentation that has the youths as the greater number of the market strength”.
Mr Ukpong said the Live and Let’s Live Nigeria is a clarion call for all and is a National Peace project that has carefully selected dynamic, young, talented and vibrant youths of like minds who are professional in their respective callings across the nation forming the Executive Team to drive the laudable Project.
The Executive Team has Mr Samuel Thomas Ukpong as the Convener/Project Director, Barrister Emmanuel Ewere Zion as a Legal Advisor, while Mr Adeyemi Onabajo is to deliver on Content Development, Abdul Rahman Aliagan serves as a Media Consultant, Mr John Ekpenyong Eyo is equally serving as Content Developer/Co-Project Director, Amb. Roland Owualah as Brand Consultant and Miss Hyellayiti Aliyu Ibrahim, Head of Marketing, Miss Iniobong Sarah Samuel as Administrative Consultant, Mr Ayobami Bello as ICT Consultant, Chief Marcel Iheme Ezenwa as the project Chief Security Officer, while Mr Stephen Ibitoye will be the graphics analyst/digital marketer.
“This Executive Team is saddled with the responsibility to maximize the utilization of tourist sites and locations in Nigeria to attracting more commercial usefulness and increase foreign direct investment and boosting the GDP of the nation” also creating programmes and projects that will attract the youths to embrace and preserve the rich and  numerous Cultural heritage of this great Nation.  The statement concludes.
