Hundreds of members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara state on Saturday organised a special prayer for the unity and peaceful coexistence among themselves as a roadmap to achieving victory in the 2019 General elections.
The prayer was at the instance of the youth against bad governance forum under the umbrella of the party.
The special prayer which took place in Ilorin, the state capital, was attended by prominent members of the party from the three senatorial districts of the state.
An llorin based Islamic scholar, Sheikh Abdulmunini Ambali- Nbandawaki who led the prayer session, prayed for the peace and unity among members of the party in the state.
In his remark, the coordinator of the forum, Mr Kayode Apo who spoke through Mr Lai Karatu said the aim and objective of the forum was to serve as the voice of the voiceless youths in the state
Mr Apo said the forum would ensure that the party elders in the state speak with one voice for the progress and victory of the party in the 2019 general elections and beyond.
